For my research, I am interested in investigating how engaging with the local landscape can enrich and enlighten junior cycle students’ art practice. I will investigate how students View, Perception and Connection with the landscape has changed over the process of site specific projects. The purpose of this research is for students to gain a connection with the natural surroundings, the cross-curricular subject matter aiding students' with their development in interpreting the world around them, allowing it to feed into their art practice.
